    OEM Headliner question

    Has anybody ordered a new oem headliner recently? What is the material like?

      NLA.

      I had mine custom made in alcantara, you can search for pictures.

          I've heard it's NLA from some people, and others say it's not.

            OE Black headliner pieces with p/n ending in 976, 979, 689 and 903 are definitely NLA....they were only equipped on a few thousand cars. Those are the 318is, non-M pieces. As for standard white/tan vinyl headlining, I'd be surprised if they are NLA.

              The tan material I know for a fact is still available, don't know an exact part number. The sunroof material is also available too, not sure about any of the black ones.

                The white vynil is still available. In fact there was one for sale here not long ago. If you want black you have to go with a custom one.
