    Cabrio questions

If the back plastic window is cloudy and falling out can just the window be changed or is the entire top trash>?

Does a top cost about a grand?

Anything special I should look at when buying a cabrio?

On the aftermarket clothtops you can zipper in the rear window. You'll have to replace the whole top if you still have the original.

No, some guy on Ebay sells both the sew-in and zip-in ones.

My genuine BMW top (replaced in like 2000) has a zipper around the rear window. However, it doesn't have the piece that you pull to zip/unzip for some reason.

Oh, my biggest annoyance with my car is the leakage. The trunk, the top storage compartment, the the corner of the doors all leak. The guy who I bought it from even showed it to me in the rain and it looked fine. So just watch out for water. Its NOT fun to deal with.
