    OBD II scanners are cheap these days. Got one last year for under hundred and it has usb compatibility to update the software.

      seems like a good deal.. i know a guy who paid 4 grand for his snap on obd2 reader...

        I sure hope that those snap on readers do alot more than the Iphone one for that price. They always have them on sale in the snap on flyer. Good thing the machinery I work on doesn't need that shit!

            Those Snap-on units are the heat. A good friend of mine is a mechanic and he has the Modis. Pricey? Dayum straight but a true time saver. It pays for itself in time alone especially on the more recent model cars.

            An Iphone app would be cool though...if I had an iphone/itouch.
