considering all the parts are still availible from the dealer,

could i buy every part for a 1992 m3 and build my own, brand new e30 m3 w/out any registration or title?

To the tune of $100k+, yes. There have been rumors that there are even new factory chassis (it is a part too) in Europe.. I should mention that the price I tossed out is extremely conservative and only parts. With labor.... you will have a lot of money in it.

Not all of the parts are still available from the dealear.

And the 1992 M3 was an E36 concept.

S14 2.3L long blocks were 10K and you had to have a USABLE core 2 years ago when I was in the market for one. Went with a rebuilt but a an old timer may he rest in peace.

              thanks

              maybe way to expensive,
but its nice to know, the parts are still out there.
i would like the editionsthat are otherwise known as the =
              Tour de Corse,
              Europa Meister 88,
              Johnny Cecotto and
              Roberto Ravaglia styles.

i read they were produced until 1992, but some were still for sale till 93, and may be a '93.

sure wish money was not an issue.

Last week I stopped by Metric Mechanic and they had a BRAND NEW s14 sitting on a stand. It was made for a guy in Australia I think they said $14k in parts. :)

Didn't some body overseas do this a few years back? I heard a rumor but never saw anything in pics. Heard it cost like 200k or so.

I remember someone here purchased a shell from BMW. It was a '94 E30 bare shell, which was turned into a race car build.

                      Cant remember the username though

some things are NLA, some things are stupid expensive for no reason.. And I would say that $100k is not a bad estimate, with a discount. closer to $150k at list, although I haven't gotten quotes on many expensive parts, like door cards, seats, trunk floor liners, etc.
