I think my sarcasm was missed here. While I have no technical knowledge to speak of, my sister has a 3.0 M60, and through her I'm familar with the engine (mated to an autotragic, but still).

A V8 with the displacement of a medium sized I6 is kind of a joke.

That being said, e34's pwn e30's for comfort's sake. But the e30 is probably faster and more enjoyable to drive.

Good luck with that thirsty v8. Seems you could barely afford to keep that e30 clean.

Ok 2.5l inline six and 3.0l v8. Is a half litre difference. Besides being a bigger car, if the engine was in an E30, I dont think it would get that much morse than a stock M20, let alone a tuned and modified M20. So since its in a bigger car, a small 6 would get worse mileage than a small 6 in an E30. I bet he gets the same mileage the M20 gets in an E30.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

I'd be very surprised if that were true.

But the point of my comment either way wasn't to shit on his thread/purchase, I was just razzing him with regards to "I'm a TRAITOR".

                          Nice e34 dude

you'll wish you still had an I6 the first time you have to do any major work on the v8....

Or wish it was a bigger v8 that was actually worth the trouble lol.
