    Decent Momo knock off wheel?

    Who's got one? Any pointers?

I was looking for something sporty and understated. Not the JDM ricer crap. All, or mostly all black:

What's out there? What do you have/seen? Discuss.

Some of the higher-end Grant wheels are really not that bad at all. Put your own emblem in the center, good to go.

I have a prototipo as well. Make me an offer as I'm not using it. It is like new, used for 3k miles. I need a bigger diameter wheel with a CR rack and no p/s.

have you looked at momo Monte Carlo wheels?
they are reasonable and are STITCHED in the seams. 2 of my MOMO wheels started splitting the foam apart in the seams of the wrap because of the summer heat

results from a quick google search

i also had a MOD 88 for a while and the flat bottom of the wheel is nice. especially if you have an E-36 rack.

i have a cool, rare, center cover for the Monte Carlo that i have on the 914-6, but i didn't care for the way it looked in the car. i'll make you a deal on it so it actually gets used insted of getting dusty on my shelf.

While we are talking steering wheels, anyone know of one with radio controls that doesn't have an airbag?

Oh. I'd totally take a stock wheel with controls. Good call Luke.

And I didn't really make it clear, my bad, but I was looking for a "knock off" - a much cheaper version of a momo wheel. I was thinking of something between $50-$80 vs. $200 for a momo wheel.

George, do you know the basics of steering wheel controls? I am so thinking about adding them to the Tech1 in my car...but the damn "deck" I am using has no provisions for IR or plug in controls.

Why the hell you want a cheap steering wheel, you got nowhere expensive to go?
