Keep the car, buy an "i" engine, and buy my M-Tech 1 kit with the money left over, and you got a hot E30.

Please explain how he could do an engine swap, buy euro bumpers, buy the valance, Mtec1 kit, and then paint it all for $1500?

Late model has bodykit included. Get an IS lip and you are golden.
      Im now E30less.

Did not know that there was a smaller budget than I expected. Still, early model E30's are nice. Stick with it...

Your car is hot, and a diaondschwarz early model is rare. I say you buy Neil's motor out of Saul's old car and spend the rest on turbo'ing it. Of, buy Neil's motor and spend the rest on appearance and more suspension mods. For an early model car, yours looks good. Why ditch something so clean just for another of the same car?

Anyway, my vote is keep your car and swap in the B25, hell, I guess you could so M50 too.

I would just keep the car and do a motor swap. The car has a clean body so why deal with the trouble of looking around for a new car just for some plastic bumpers and an m20? You could drop in an m20 and have enough to buy plastic bumpers and still have more money left.

You said you were just coming into $1500 you could spend... I'm assuming like a tax return or something, but really, $1500 is a good start. If you can save that and add to it, you could turn your car into something wicked.

If you can transfer ALL the good stuff that you want from the Eta, go ahead and buy the 325is. Would you have to sell the Eta to buy the new car? That makes it tough to keep the good stuff.

i will be able to borrow some money intrest free so i will have time to swap every thing

                      -H&R cup kit
                      -possibly RA's
                      -sound system
                      -ssk
-various trim pieces (ebrake boot etc.)

i honestly hate chrome, so unless i paint some 3ur0 bumpers, whats the point

how much would i be looking to spend on the motor swap? (b25)

i could probably do it myself, but i dont have the required tools...

Keep it, get new bumper trim, paint bumbers, an IS air dam, and motor swap.

Im no expert in E30 building but I am going to assume that he might have put a bit more than a couple grand into the car. Lets be realistic here.

IL DUCE, keep your car. I felt the same way when I first got my ETA. It's grown on me, I wouldn't sell it now - wouldn't be worth it.
I bought mine for cheap so an M50 swap would be cost effective (when the time comes).

Again I know exactly how you feel, hell you have a chip / nice paint / good theme going / and not to forget a 3RD PEDAL on me to start.
So I suggest using that money towards an engine swap.

                                .
If you don't like the chrome Euro bumpers and don't like the diving boards, then get a late model.

Buying and selling cars does take a bit of time though, but if you want small plastic bumpers . . .
