    Front Bumper Removal? *read*

    There's 2 bolts on the plastic bumpers for the front, the passenger side one is well beyond f'ed now, ez-out drilling, everything, i can't get it out, any other way to get the bumper off? Im about to just cut in the frame..
    '92 Golf VR6
    '91 325i
    '95 cabrio
    '94 jetta vr6

    the bolts that attach the bumper shocks to the car? or the ones that attach the bumper shocks to the bumper?

      what about using a hack saw two cut the bolt in half?

          Drill it out to remove the pressure on it and then try to get them out after the bumper is off. Bolts only stay in due to the pressure that is being exerted on the head of the bolt. Remove the pressure and it should unthread by hand, IF the bolt is not stripped.

          If all else fails, you could drill it out, remove the bumper and then just a get a new shock for that side. I'm sure someone on here will hook you up with one.

            yeah im trying to drill it out, and sell the bumper needing one bumper shock it's in great shape i've gotten everything off the car but the bumper lol, i'll play with it probably this weekend.. i guess i was wondering if there is a hidden bolt in the back or something of that nature

              If you could wait a month and half you can have all the stupid US crap off mine except the front airdam. That's being saved.
