I'm lookin' at one, but according Jordan's chart, they don't seem to exist. Owner could be wrong on the year, or worse, the car is actually and eta. Which?

Could be both. The 325i didn't come out in the US until 1987 and it was only a 4-door at that (325is was two-door only).
If it's an 86, it's an eta, no question about it. -

Fred, is it possible that it's imported European '86 325i coupe? (sport or standard)Originally posted by FredCould be both. The 325i didn't come out in the US until 1987 and it was only a 4-door at that (325is was two-door only).

Yeah that's possible, but the way I see it the chances of that happening is very rare while the chances of it being an 86 325 with an "i" badge (like how mine was when I bought it) are quite high. :)Originally posted by Stu McFred, is it possible that it's imported European '86 325i coupe? Theres a plaque on the upper right corner of the engine bay with the model, production year etc...That's how I found out my car wasn't a 325i but a 320i (European). You can also check the VIN number on a decoder
E30 325i 1990 (Winter beater)
E36 M3/4/5 1997 (Futur IP car?)
