the car is a 86 325 e but has eS options like 2.93LSD, sport seats, 3 spoke wheel.
what wheel is this i've been told m-tech 1 but i'm doubtful?

the steering wheel is probally the sport steering wheel. Before 88 there was the standard 4 spoke wheel and the 3 spoke sport wheel then in 88 the M-tech 1 wheel replaced the sport wheel. But soem find the sport wheel more comfortable. I sold my M-tech 1 and stuck a sport on as I like it a lot better.

Its the standard 325e sport wheel. My 85 has it. The Mtec1 is thinner, smaller, and has the bands around the bottom edge. I dont really like this wheel, its HUGE like a bus wheel.

My car is an 85 Eta and it came with sport seats and this wheel but no LSD. Its and option on non-sport cars.

I have that wheel in my '85 325E and it is SMALLER than an M-Tech 1 wheel. I compared them one ontop of the other and the m-tech is a good .75" wider.
I love my sport wheel, feels a lot better than the M-Tech in my GF's car...

mine's got everything 8) mtech1 wheel, rear spoiler, LSD, OBC......and a broken M20 :evil: I can sit in my loaded 325is......that's about it! :roll:

ANYWAY,

BahnE30 be very happy you have a LSD, it's very helpful and cool. :)

If you feel you need a Mtech wheel, just buy one off ebay, they are on there pretty often.

I have everything that was available back in 86 from sport seats to lighted mirror.

since it seems like people have said the sport wheel is more comfortable then the mtech 1 i decided to pop on the sport steering wheel and i have to say it isnt as bad as i thought.

no clue... the pic is big, but it doesn't show detail on the lip... i doubt it, but it could just be the regular skirt to the valence but a little warped.... no clue
