Alright, I have an update. From what I've heard, the owner is getting a divorce and his wife wants the corvette in settlement. So now he is messing it up so she doesn't want it.

Only the real ones don't match up with the vehicles centerline.

It kinda looks like he may have had the vehicle wrapped before he destroyed it for easy reversal. I had an insured who was going through a divorce and while the husband was away on active she had her boyfriend wreck the car so she could get the money for the car immediately.
