    Non-locking E-brake

I am looking for an e-brake handle that can switch from locking to non-locking for drifting but still able to be used as a parking brake. I've heard of these but never seen them. Anyone know where I could find one or if they even exist?

you really should not abuse the parking brake like that

it is not very heavy duty components in there

By parking break I meant the e-brake sorry...it's a manual transmission.

They're not that hard to replace, especially if you do it once per event.

Just put some tape over the lock button. Du-uh.

have you tried using the e30 parking brake to drift already? it sucks ass for doing anything except parking.

^ Mine worked perfectly for ages without any problems.

To the original poster: e30s dont need "drift knobs". All you have to do is simple:

                  1-) Pull ebrake up
                  2-) Pull ebrake handle out
3-) Unscrew the factory knob with your fingers
                  4-) Remove spring
                  5-) Reinstall factory knob.

Now the ebrake won't lock into position. Keep the spring handy and after you're done at the track you can put the spring back in.

and if your still adamant about getting a drift knob for it. just get one from a 240 that doesnt thread. one that just fits over the existing button. you'll still have to remove the spring though for it to work properly

I pulled out my spring and used a 3/8" rachet extension as my knob..fun stuff!
