Holy fucking junkyard find Batman!

Let me start off by saying my roommate is the luckiest bastard I know. He found a '85 318i for $500 on accident. And thats not the end of it. The car is in perfect condition exterior and interior. The only thing wrong with it is the engine has some blowby so it smokes and it's missing the distributor. It's delphingrey and sweeeeeet.

Ok, now on to the lucky part. We went to the junkyard today. A local place here in Georgia called Pull-A-Part. Here is what we found. A Euro '85 318i. That's right. Here is what he paid today:

Perfect dent free chrome euro bumpers: $30 per bumper = $60.00!!!
Brand new BMP Design replacement dash: $19.00 (no scratches or cracks)
European Grilles: Free!!!!!!! Mother FUCKING FREE!!! NO $!!!!!!

I will post pictures next week of the before and after transformation of his car. And before and after pictures of the items purchased for next to goddamn nothing. Fuck I'm so jealous it's not even funny. I guess we're going to have a new R3v member joining up soon. I'm glad I got him hooked on E30's but this is fucking ridiculous.

$60 is still more than I paid for my euro bumpers... although they weren't perfect. The rear one has no signs of rust? Amazing...

i got 4 15 inch OZ Racing Wheels w/ near perfect tires, Perfect oil pan, and full raciong dynamics kit for $400 after tax

thats ~200 for wheels/tires
~150 RD kit
~50 Oil Pan

There are 2 Pull-a-parts in Atlanta I've gone down there 3 times to grab parts. Henrico is my favorite as they seem to have the most e30's.
