what kind of bike is this?

hey guys im trying to sell a bike for my friend, he has no idea what the bike is. I know its a 1999 kawasaki ninja, but i am unsure of engine size. i have the VIN, but carfax wont take it. here is a pic:

looks like a 600. whats the redline? If its 13,500 or 14k, its definately a 600. I also think the 1100 ninjas had dual exhaust....

isnt there supposed to be a plate with the vin and all the specs of it on the bike? my friends honda 929 has a plate with all the specs of the bike

there was a plate on the bike, i didnt notice engine size on it, all i saw was recommended tire sizes, etc.

My track weapon is the Ninja ZX-7R bored out to 820CCs (like Eric Bostrom's bike, for those who follow bike racing), it's FUN!

looks like a 636, but those didn't come out until 02 i believe. too big for a 600, maybe a zx7 or 9r?

i have a 600r if anyone wants it, lol. it's on ebay right now

oh yah- look on the frame, usually left (clutch) side behind the plastics. should say what size it is
