        I always disconnect the ground cable, and leave the (+) on the battery.
        Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

            Dude, that totally blows, I did that on a camaro I owned back in the day, fried the alternator, starter, melted the fuse box and some wires. booo.

            I can help you out if you need a good ecu, harness, and alternator. All pulled from my 91 318 (I'm swapping an m52 in). Anything else from the engine you want I can let go of for real cheap.
