I paid $2500 for mine ('86 325es), almost bone stock with a Magnaflow and a Z3 ssk, in great condition. Only hitch is that it has a reconstructed title, so maybe $3k if it's in amazing shape.
I got mine for $700, but the guy I bought it from didn't seem to know/care about model specifics, and it was missing the air dam (the best part of an ES!)
At least you also get the M-tech wheel, as well...
I was looking at some e34's and I was just wondering if I could sell my car and be able to buy one, but I was just looking. :)
ewe.
but whatev- get what you want.
i prefer the e28s ... something about them look more stable than the 34's.
you could get a 2001 7 series for 5k.
the e36s are worth about 2k
and imo, the e30s are worth 1-9k (depending, if from a bmwcca member, its worth a ton more, if from anyone who doesn't know what a T.B. is, then its worth 500.

Is the gas tank full or empty...but seriously I love my Seta, they(and the Eta's) tend to hold their value quite well here in Germany too. I bought mine for 1500euro w/ 230k km(about 145k miles), w/ lots of extras. I am going to try to score a good Seta motor and stick in my Touring.
is there anythin special about an 87es?
my friend is picking on up for a DD and i know that i am going to end up helping him mod/ fix it up.
it is just an ETA with sport seats and a different air dam right?
Sport seats, Premium sound, map lights, sport wheel, front air dam, rear lip, sport suspension, LSD, 13 button OBC, Basketweaves, power top and windows, etc...
