    IDLE question

My 88 325is idles very weird every now and again when i come to a stoplight or stop sign. It lurches forward a little but when i put it in neutral ti corrects itself. Is there any way that it still might be learning the programing of the bavauto chip? How long does it typically take for a car to adjust to a chip? Also I put injector cleaner in it and almost ran all the gas out so I dont think its bad gass either. Any suggestions?

My guess is it should only take like a short drive to adjust to the chips settings. I've never installed a chip but I don't think it would take long.

You can just try cleaning the ICV, helped on mine but it still idles wonky after the chip.

Your fuel pump may be on the fritz. Mine was doing crazy things at stop lights too and I was told it was the ICV but a new one only made the problem worse. Finally last week the fuel pump quit and after installing a new used one it has not had any issues!
