My 88 325is idles very weird every now and again when i come to a stoplight or stop sign. It lurches forward a little but when i put it in neutral ti corrects itself. Is there any way that it still might be learning the programing of the bavauto chip? How long does it typically take for a car to adjust to a chip? Also I put injector cleaner in it and almost ran all the gas out so I dont think its bad gass either. Any suggestions?

My guess is it should only take like a short drive to adjust to the chips settings. I've never installed a chip but I don't think it would take long.

Your fuel pump may be on the fritz. Mine was doing crazy things at stop lights too and I was told it was the ICV but a new one only made the problem worse. Finally last week the fuel pump quit and after installing a new used one it has not had any issues! The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!
