cost about $600.00 for shipping sometimes less because we don't ship that much in that direction. W&W can give you good rates from time to time.

How are you going to have it registered??? DOD tags or ? if it's registered under the German system or anyone elses get ready to take of all the non complanice parts thet you don't have paperwork for aka TUV.

Ask Nico, BaverianBimmer, or ? sorry forgot your screen name. Has a M3 and Touring and is an ex-patriate Army gent who know lives and works on German economy.

Yeah, i've used W&W before, with forwarding costs it was roughly 8-900$. What kind of tags do you military guys use when you are abroad? Belgium doesn't have a TUV inspection but something fairly anal- I was wondering if i could use some "temp" tags for the year i was there so i wouldn't have to conform my car to any standards..

        Thanks

Why don't you bring an old american car (wanted in europe) then sell it there, then buy a nice euro E30 for cheap and return with it in US.
It would be the best deal for you...

We use DOD tags that are issued by TUV. Inspection is differant.

because he will still need to federalise the car coming back to the US.

I think that is only possible for a month as I have my German tags still. They were legal a month after the wifes car left the port.
