I need to get on the wagon and am looking into getting a Plasma/HDTV/Proj TV but need info on what is the diff between all of them? I'm looking into spending $4000 tops. I went to BestBuy that had a Magnolia HiFi center inside and I got confused with all that was offered at BestBuy and Magnolia? So I need to get info..............

Just go to google and search. You should be able to find good info.
Keep 2 things in mind though when purchasing Hd widescreen.First is the signal source and the most important one is the space constraints.I almost bought a 65 in but settled for a 57 with a new surround sound setup instead. However even the 57 still seems too big for my new "luxury apartment".Its impressive but at times its like sitting in the 6-7 row at the movies. It looked much better in the condo i was living in a few months ago since I sat much further.

If you're interested in any particular product... I've been looking at the Sharp Aquos line of LCD TVs for quite a while now. I've seen a few of them in action and am very impressed. I really do believe that they are some of the highest quality LCD Tvs you can get.Michael Spiegle

quan325i has it --www.avsforum.com is THE
place to go and has been for at least 10 years.
I used to be really into this, even do research
on HDTV. The botom line on the research is that
SIZE DOES MATTER people are more impressed
by size than resolution. So best deal is to get a
small projector for under 1k then aim it at a wall
and do tweaks/upconversion for showing DVDs.
If you really want a permanent display many people
like the Samsung DLP rear-projection TVs (very
bright-not like old-style rear projection TVs) but
they also wash out some of the deep blacks.
You could also go to my old site for YACL:
