That wasn't drifting, that was the Pike's Peak hill climb. It is a timed event where the drivers climb the mountain as fast as possible. The fact that they drift around the corners is a by product.

Is Rallying drifting? No.

In a rally there are no judges just clocks and times don't lie, that is why it is hard to take drifting seriously the winners are chosen by judges not times.

Drifting can be fun if you don't act dumb. Three kids from my highschool died on easter acting stupid. If your in a parking lot or an industrial area drifting can be a lot of fun. This should really be clean cut: if you don't like to drift then dont drift. Now how hard was that?

OP, I bet if you google drifting you will find more helpful answers. None of us give a shit about it, and the kids that do usually only own their e30s temporarily before they stuff them or upgrade to a 240.
