Cheap battery?

I just went to discount auto and went to see prices for batteries. He pulled up two for my car one was 160 dollars and the other 100. I am not going to pay even close to that much money for a fucking car battery. That is fucking robbery and completely asinine.

I guess only certain batteries fit in these fucking rape jobs huh?

I've never had to get a new battery for any of my bimmers, but this one is about to be completely useless.

Any advice?

call your local Interstate battery, get a "blem", should be about $50

I almost flipped when I saw those batteries for 160 dollars. I called walshits, and they want 77 dollars for one plus the 9 dollar core charge so 68. I don't think there is an interstate battery any where near my house. I haven't tried sears yet, I'll give them a call. Can you believe the people at my walmart thought BMW was made by ford? Seriously.

My sears doesn't have an auto department either, I fucking hate this town so much.

Autozone has ones that fit for $80 and then get a friend who is in the military to go with you and it is 10% off.

You should go to the BMW dealer and see how much a battery is if you think $80 is exspensive.

$80 is about cheap as a new battery comes, retail

call some auto stores about good used ones ($35-50). Most any top-post battery will do with some work

group 24, 27 and 35 batteries are very common and fit well enough to work

I know my local junkyard chain sells "refurbished" batteries but I just buy the optima redtops.

I thought mine was bad but I charged it up for about 12 hours and I'm getting 13.85 V at the terminals with the car idling and the headlights on H/Bs.

No problems since.

Nah the battery is shot, It's been drained and charged at least 6 times in the past 2 months. I keep leaving my damn blower on and the blowers hooked up directly to the battery with a fuse. When it's on the 1 setting its so quite and I'm usually stoned so I become forgetful.
