Gas Filler Neck

how much of a pain is it to replace the gas filler neck on a 318is..im lookin at one now that needs that replaced cause it has a hole in it somewhere.. how much too??

It doesn't look all that bad. I will be doing mine this summer when I put my extended range tank in for good. It uses a differant Fuel filler pipe.

can you post a pic of the part?? how much did it cost ya too..and the "extended" range tank would be a cool addition too. lmk where you got this stuff

its really simple, theres a bolt up near the top end, a braket under the car, about half way down the tube, then a hose clamp that connects to a hose, and a few hoses that you have to disconect up near the top (hard to put back on)

I got mine used for $20.

My dealer cost was 68 new. Extended range tank are not available here in the US.

I have a few tanks but only have hoses and supplies for two out of 4.
