Anyone know difference between the 3 koni rear shocks with part #'s for e30's?

Looking at this list here: http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/koni/apps-BMW.html

Shows that the vast majority of e30's call for 80-2522 rear shock, but late 318is's and late mtech suspension 318i and 325i call for 80-2641, and m3 calls for 80-2522-SP1

I bought a used set of konis that are 2522's, but the adjustment on 1 of them is broken. I'll probably send it back but I found a single cheap brand new 2522-SP1 that I could get for less than rebuilding my bad one. I will call koni if nobody knows off hand, but it's 2am and I'm curious now dammit.

    Thanks guys
    -Sam

The valving is different rates I have a bunch of odd ball old ones as well from when I was residing in Germany. The SP1 are shortened.
