Engine and Tranny w/137,000 +

Really simple I have the acces to a T-boned 2002, 540I the body shop was going to put it back together but is deciding to part out instead. The motor and tranny will be pulled together and I was hoping one of the locals would want to take it away from my hands. I'm not too much into the whole swap deal but I am into making money.

What do you guys think this combo is, or should be worth?

A) $ 4000.00 +
B) $ 3000.00
C) $ 2000.00 or below

The buyer will also have the opportunity to pull the motor themself if need be!

Engine is high mileage. You'll be lucky if you get $1500 for everything. $750 for manual tranny. $750 for engine. If tranny is a slushbox, "below" will become "even more below". ;-)

Ouch I thought maybe I could make some coin but it is kind of high milage, it's also a stick so maybe I can keep the price on the upper side of $1500.00?

The stick tranny has value as it is a rare item. But honestly, the motor is kinda high mileage. Try to sell as separate and as a combo.

Not much. Trans is probably worth 800 assuming everything works fine. Motor is worth maybe 1500. 137k is pretty high mileage... you can find lower mileage examples in the price range I posted.
