Where's a good place to find a decent E34 540i/6 or 535i/5? Craigslist has been failing me and I need something for daily driver status. Any good forums or places to look for one of these things in the bay?

Too bad you're on the wrong coast. There's a pretty decent looking 535i/5 on Boston Craigs for like 6 bills.

Hard to find manual E34s, I think if I were to get one I would try to find an M540i which are usually better taken care of than the run of the E34. I think I will just convert my car next time I blow that crap GM unit to pieces again.sigpicComment

bf.c and craigs are the best bet. searchtempest.com allows you to search multiple cities, states, whatever on craigslist at once.
