    '06 525i

So my dad and I went to check out a BMW 525i in Ontario today. It had new tint and M5 wheels along with angel eyes etc. Basically the guy did a bunch of asthetics work on it. My question is, are there any things to look for in particular when it comes to these cars? My dad is especially worried about maintanance costs (coming from a '93 camry). This would be my mom's car and my dad is cool with the mpg so far. Any reason to get this over an Audi A6 of the same year?

    Thanks.

You're not going to find many (if any) e60 owners on R3v. I'd ask over on Bimmerforums.

That car is going to be slow. Engine wise the M54's are pretty solid engines. I have no idea about the rest of the car.

the e60's have the same basic problems as the e39s had.-- I have done 2 radiators in the last month-- so yeah- they are still crap. and yes maint. is going to be ALOT more than a Toyota-- it is a BMW.
the newer 5s arent bad there is no real major problems with them.

Thanks for the info guys. My dad has decided he hates the interior, especially since that one is all black with dark tint. All depends on my mom though.
