I know a guy that has them on his S4, and he's had them on for almost a year. He has driven over the mountain pass several times (which is sanded with cinder gravel for traction) this winter and not even a slight marr. He had them on all summer also, and no yellowing either.

Ive run those things since I first ditched my sealed beams. Both pair of Smokes have never seen sand or gravel.
                  Im now E30less.

                    Yep.

Had 'em on my smoked euro lenses on my Jetta ($150/each). Had one hit by a rock so hard it sounded like a gunshot inside the car. I was certain the lens would at least be cracked to pieces. The StonGard (aka 3M) showed the impact--but the lens was 100% intact.

On the BMW, one of my Hellas (which have a thinner StonGard) got hit *right* on the edge--which did unfortunately crack the lens. StonGard is holding it together though.

If purchased/installed by StonGard, it has a lifetime warranty against delamination, cracking, or yellowing.

I have all four sealed beams still and the replacement H1 high beam will cost $45. Thanks for the offer though.

By the way, stock sealed beams sell for $11 new. If you are trying to sell them, lower the price. :D

Haha ha, you're lucky when I got my red E30, three out of four
headlights had holes in em', but that's not the worst part. two
out of three of those with holes had lakes in em' big enough to
stock fish..... I can't believe something didn't short out! Hell, I'm
suprised the prior owner didn't electrocute himself when he
started the car! I shoulda kept em' just to show off.
