Whats an 88 M3 go for?

I saw an 88 m3 in a shop thats in very good condition. Everything inside and out looks good. Now the o.d. only reads 30,000 miles ,but i dought it. The owner says it runs and he would sell it. Im just wondering a ball park figure what its worth. Thanks...

25k+ for a really good example with those few miles I would think, I don't know the differences in price by year though.

I will try to get some pics soon. If you want to believe me, the guy said he wants 8000 for it. I almost collapsed. I did look under the hood at the s14 and it looks good, just dirty. I want to believe that the odo is working, but who knows.

8000? There's gotta be something wrong with that

$8000 is what you're gunna be putting into the engine if that ODO is broken and it needs a full rebuild.

I would still buy it though I really want an e30 m3 myself.

If that's true, and the rest of the car is mint he would have 16k in a 25k car.

This is true. I'm just saying an $8000 M3 might end up costing a bit of money to get up to snuff. Personally I would love to have even a basket case M3 if I could one day restore it to pristine condition.

youd probably be a fool not to buy it for 8k even if it needs a motor rebuild. rolling shells go for 5k! If you can buy it, do it before the owner gets smart and changes his mind. Run the vin if that will help ease your mind. I will run it for you if you want.

I think the cars have come down in value some, recently. 8k still seems like a good price though.

therefore, their value is much greater.
