cant run the stock AFM and the miller war chip.

WAR chip only works with the MAF that they sell...or i could have missed something

It will fork with your AFM, but why the hell would you want it to? Fork over the extra $250 and upgrade to a MAF, it's 1000x better in every way.

      ESPECIALLY if you're going boost.

The WAR Chip works with your car AFM or MAF. We only offer a base turbo file that works with the use of our 3.5" MAF. If you want to run the AFM and boost, you can do that, but the tune would be up to you.

We sell plenty of WAR Chips for AFM cars, and plenty of MAF and WAR Chip combo for guys converting to MAF.

When you buy the WAR Chip and you plug it in to your computer for the first time a set up wizard (which is a new feature) auto runs and gets you to choose your ECU and 4 base tunes applicable to the ECU of choice. You can choose between some of our standard MAF tunes, or our standard AFM performance tunes.

The WAR Room membership would allow you share others tunes as well as some of our "premuim" tunes.

Most of our customer uploaded tunes are based with our MAF conversion in place.

                  brody,
How many tunes are we talking that I would have access to if I got the WAR chip?

I have a 2007 model MAF with whatever chip tune came with that at the time (for an 89 325i) and it has a 7k limit. My motor is pretty much stock besides the MAF and headers back exhaust -cat. I would like to lower the rev limit slightly for reliability reasons and also be able to take advantage of a higher octane level (93) I want to say the "one size fits all" chip I have now is for 91 octane?

Do you think there are more gains to be had on a pretty much stock engine? I already got a decent boost in power from the MAF itself and this new WAR chip sounds like the next step.

                  Thanks,
                  Justin

The GENII "one size fits all" tune is available in the Wizard, yes.

I think I replied to your email about this but in all honesty, the gain you will get from 91 to 93 may be noticeable on the dyno, but will be minimal for seat of the pants feel.

The WAR Chip will just give you the future flexibility, and allow you to massage the tune out specific to your vehicle gaining a couple ponies here and there.

At the moment, yes, only XP. We are working and almost ready to release a stable Win7 version. However, we are skipping Vista completely for many reasons.

We have a number of customers using an XP simulator on their MAC's with great success. But a MAC specific platform will not be offered
