how much linear play are CV axles supposed to have?
when grabbing the axle and pushing/pulling towards the diff and the axle hubs I have close to an inch of play.
I also have further undiagnosed vibration and noise coming from somewhere and driveline noise.
Guibo and CSB are from last year.
Driver side CV seems to have no play. This is when the car is on the ground.
I recently replaced the diff thinking it had failed, but alas..it did not remedy the issue. The diff was just leaking profusely from the axle stubs seals.
