So, to start from the beginning, I bought the car ~2yrs ago,
New Parts to date: Fuel Pump (internal/external), fuel filter, starter, Idle control valve, fuel pressure regulator, distributor, rotor, A/C Condenser, and spark plugs.
I have performed the following tests according to the Haynes manual: ignition coil test, fuel pump relay test, ecu test, starter, Fuel Injector Resistance, starter, alternator, fuel shutoff relay, Throttle switch (all i can think of at the moment). ALL HAVE PASSED!
i have no Barometric Pressure Sensor, as it was removed b4 i ever had the car. Now according to everyone else, this is not an essential part, however according to this diagram and the parts' description, it is...
The only test i have not been able to perform is the Fuel Pressure test, which requires i buy a fuel pressure gauge. i initially did not perform this test because the car starts (from the cold start injector) and assumed that if there was not enough fuel to the rail, that it wouldn't start to begin with. also the fact that i bought new internal and external fuel pumps and fuel filter, should eliminate the theory of it being a fuel delivery problem, however i have been using old gas in the car (though still smells very fresh), but like i said she starts when turned over immediately and then dies.
The really weird thing is that when i start the car, as i mentioned, it shuts off....however, a few times i would try to start it while holding the pedal to the floor, or after it would start, id try to push down on the pedal, but the engine never reved!? The RPM needle didnt even move, and the engine didnt even "sense" that i was pushing down on the pedal. i checked the Throttle Position Sensor and it passed, and i checked my throttle cable and its connected and moves when i push down on the gas pedal?
