    Brake lining light "ON"

I need to know what is causing my brake lining light to stay on? The sensors are new as are the pads. Help
    Thanks

check the wire connections leading into the sensors. sometimes they get old and corroded.

. . . Or just remove the light in your cluster and never think about it again.

mine has been on for the last 6 months. i just ignore it and will ttake the bulb out at some point. new pads and the stupid plastic on the sensor broke. fuck it, it's not like you don't look at the pads every so often to see what it left for lining.

meh id be concerned if i was ignorant about the normal problems with E30s.

hell, when i bought my car, the idle was fluctuating, and thought i was screwed lol.

I like all my dash lights on, especially at night. Keeps the monsters away.

Disconnect your battery and reconnect making sure there is no flex in the cables and connection is tight. I don't know why this works, but it worked for me.

Mine comes on and off. (So does the check engine light.)

But i just haven't gotten around to the maintenance on the new cab though. I'm hoping it'll go away when i put the ss lines and new sensors on. I've heard often that the wiring is the culprit.
