hrmm....i wasn't aware about the quality issues on the remembers. unfortunately 57.1 is already NLA- since both are currently back ordered i've got some head scratching to do.

how/where are you getting these caps? i was looking at the bbs hex caps and was wondering if the esm caps could be modified (easily) to house these.

Over the last few years i've been through 10 or 12 sets of BBS RS Replica.
Konig, ESM (Lenso), Enkei, ARE, etc.

Speaking from personal experience of actually using the wheels on daily driven cars. some of the wheels are of pitifully poor quality. Konig/Maxxim make excellent wheels for the money, I'm looking forward to the Remember being sold in more and bigger sizes soon.

Its a pity Enkei and ARE stopped selling their replicas a while ago, the quality was very good.

The rest are not worth the money. just my 2cents having dealt with aftermarket wheels for over wheels 25 years.

I ran mine for over a year including auto x events. The guy I sold them to also runs them on his daily. All the bent ones I've seen were on vw's with 40 series tires. I was going to have thw caps made at my machine shop. I will probabaly have 20 sets made and sell them for cheap. There were a few guys trying to get rid of their 7.5 fronts so they could go 16x9 all around.

IIRC RS's have 30 bolts and Remembers have like 32 or 34.

Aw fuck, I was totally gonna get a set this summer. I want BBS reps so bad. BBS is too expensive, plus the cost to build them, make sure they are straight, and have a good finish on them, polished lip etc.

Why would they stop making them?
