    318IC springs on a 318i 4d?

I'm very close to purchasing a set of tunershop/weitec springs for my late model 318i four door, but they're for a 318ic, originally sold as 55/35 drop. How will this end up looking on my 4d? Will it be a noticeable drop in the back as well? I dont really want mega super rake.

You will have mega super rake. Don't do it. I don't care how much money you'll be saving.

I would assume it would sit higher due to the weight difference, but don't take that as a definite answer, that's just my logic on the matter, im sure someone who knows for sure will chime in

The rear iC springs are made to compensate for an extra 300-ish lbs, so you'll have crazy rake.

any more opinions? are you sure the 318i weighs 300 more lbs than my 318 four door?

Pics thanks to VacMan, jacked from Bimmerforums.

Note that the driveway is sloped, and the car isn't.

Unless you like carting fatties around, don't do it.

why not get the ones designed for the 318i? theyre pretty cheap. i know they make them, because i have them

edit: yeah and expect alot of rake, im running spring pads in the rear and none up front and i got some noticeable rake. it should be corrected once i remove the rear pads though.
