The video says the E30 "has a British Xtrac 4-wheel-drive transmission." So, I guess it's been converted to run an Xtrac set-up. I'd never heard of this before, either.

I am loving that Renualt 5 turbo in 2nd place. But it looks sluggish in comparison to the M3 - are we really sure this M3 is AWD though?

I'm pretty sure thats an MG Austin Metro and not a Renualt, They had a group B version

That's an MG Metro 6R4 Group B car.

The 6R4 runs what's basically a Cosworth "DFV" F1 engine with 2 cylinders cut off to make it a V6. This is the same engine they later adapted to use in the Jag XJ220 supercar. Unlike the rest of the Group B field, these engines were normally aspirated and "only" made 450 hp or so.
