        There was a batch of those sent to south america with non BMW vins.

            Strangely, there actually was a batch of 2002s sent to brazil and labeled as something else. They have vin #s that can not be found by BMW and IIRC are badged as some brazilian company.

                I dont doubt it. Youre in a different dimension once you cross to the southwestern hemisphere.
