Gotta change 5spd trans on m42, Clutch questions

Heya all, Been a while since on here since I've been lacking on treating the e30 proper. I'm inorder of replacing the trans in the due to the fact I lost 2nd gear a while back. SO, I figure that I should also replace the clutch @ the same time. I've done a lil research (as,I've been outta the e30 world for a bit due to the e34) there seems to be a dual Vs. single mass flywheel thing on the m42?!?! Whats better??? I have held reserve plans of upgrading to a I6, But in the mean time I wanna keep the m42 running strong. Whats the "best" clutch kit to go with??

There wasn't a single mass m42 flywheel that I know of, people swap m20b25 (325i) single masses, clutches, and pressure plates in. You'll need m20 starter and a special throw out bearing I think from an e21. There's an m42 specific forum here, and http://www.m42club.com/ between those two places you'll be fine

there is an m42 single-mass flywheel; it was used in non-AC cars and I don't think you could buy an e30 that way stateside. i have one on the way from germany right now.
