    control bushes and bigger wheels?

I just mounted my beautiful new black Beyern mesh 15x7 wheels shod with 205/55/15 Yoko S-Drive tires. I replaced my BBS Basketweave 14's. Now the car pulls to the left and has a vibration in the wheel at speeds over 50mph. Would it be totally crazy to think that the larger wheel is pushing harder on the control arm bushings and causing havoc? The bushes are 20K mi old OEM. If this is the case, should I upgrade to the E30 M3 solid rubber bushes instead?? Any input would be appreciated.

Sounds like your wheels are not hub-centric but maybe its not that simple...

Interesting, i will say that when we start upgrading things, we tend to make the more worn out parts of our cars stick out. that being said, are you sure your wheels are balenced correctly? Are the rims BRAND NEW as well as the tires? Another question, are the tires mounted on the rims the right way? S-drives are not multi directional and could cause a problem if mounted in reverse. Are the widths the same? Is your car Lowered? Has it been aligned properly? What did your original tires look like? Were thy cupped or did they wear unevenly?
I don't know you, so don't take any of these questions personally BTW, i am asking as if you are a noob, which you probably aren't, but these questions when answered will help.
        Yours truly,
        Rich

I got the wheels and tires from Bavauto, delivered mounted and balanced. I didn't see the balancing being done, so I would hope that it is good. The rotation direction is correct on all 4 corners. All wheels are 15x7 and all tires are 205/55/15's. The car is running on stock springs and 2 month old Bilstein HD shocks/struts. The tires that came off were showing normal wear but only had about 4K miles on them. I was having a little vibration in the steering wheel as well as the shifter and attributed it to the banged up basketweaves, but it was running straight with no pulling. Now the shifter is smooth, but the steering wheel is shaking more and it pulls left. Sway bar links are 2 mo old, wheel bearings are 4k mi old, control arms and bushings have about 20K miles on them. The car has 168K. Not a newb, no offense taken.

vibration usually comes from the wheels being out of balance. or worse i lost a wheel because i didnt but it on the centering ring correctly. when you changed the bushings. did you get the ones that are centered or did you buy the M3 ones that are off center? that will cause the car to pull left or right and you need to get an alignment asap you can do it yourself by using a measuring tape and measuring the distance between the the front and backs of the tires.
                  Much wow

Took it to the tire shop this morning. Had a tire out of round and way out of balance. Sounds like a bad tire to me. Alignment was ok up front. Both were toed in just a hair, but in spec. The rear right is almost a degree toed out. Great, time for rear bushings. I have been dreading that job.
