    13b obc code setting.

CODE setting for the 13 button OBC.

Okay, for those of you that don't know, this works as a vehicle immobilizer for anti-theft protection and such. When activated, It requires the entering of a code to start the car(the one you put). If an improper code is entered (or none at all) the starter motor will turn but the engine will not start. I use this once in a while when my driveway is full(or I'm lazy) and I have to park on the street of my house.

My question is, does this prevent every way of starting, stealing, hot wiring, or any other way to take the car?

What I'm asking basically is, If the code is entered, is there any way to still start the car?

    Thanks.

Entering the code cuts the power to your fuel pump, so I guess if you fed the pump power directly from the battery, you could start the car...

Thank you, that's the answer I was looking for.
