Spotted this in work car park today

Well I couldn't resist taking pictures

Its the M10 version 1.6 from the mid seventies...the guy now very old has owned it from new! The car is always there as he owns part of the company I work for. I've seen it a few times but not a lot else I can say other than old skool is cool
N.B this car is 15 years older than me and in better condition too!!!

That's awesome. I love the color. Any interior shots?

Sorry mate...I fell over the first time I say it, but the owner has M5's M3's and still prefers to drive this...I would too, I think it even has a 4 speed box too! But next time I'm in workshop and the car is there I can ask to get a few interior and engine shots. As I say the condition for age is incredible, and its unmolestered too!!!

if the badging is correct it is in fact a 2.0 not a 1.6, but what sets the tii apart from the standard 2002 and the ti is Kugelfischer fuel injection as opposed to a single down draft carb or dual sidedraft of the ti.

My first car was a square tail light 1976 2002 like this, what great memories I have of that car. A dozen BMW's later I am still as fond of them as ever.
