It's a 1990 325is that has damage on the right rear panel which was hit while car was parked and small dent on right front panel. The panel rubs on the wheel, this is really the only mechanical issue with this car. Also body panel behind rear bumper is damaged. Because of that its got a salvaged title and it hasn't been registered since 08. Other than that the car was running strong with 185k miles on it. Here are some pics of what the damage looks like. To me it seems like it can just be hammered out. But let me get your guy's feedback. Thanks.

It is such a PITA having to click those little links. If you want people to help you out learn to post images so they are in the post. If the picture is already hosted on the net Just right click, copy image location. Then click on the Post reply button and on the toolbar at the top click on the little mountain icon and paste in the url of the image. BAM! you can see the picture!
And for what it's worth that car is a write off. Buy the wheels though. If that is in fact diamond schwartz black the other body panels could be worth something as the paint looks to be in good shape.
Damage like that to the rear quarter is major, that is unibody right there not easy to replace. Unless you have considerable bodywork skills and will be doing the work yourself it isn't worth it.Last edited by Adrian_Visser; 05-19-2010, 08:44 PM.

The damage is pretty bad, but it depends on how much you like the rest of the car.
A friend of my dad's hired someone to fix his convertable Jaguar XKE after an oak tree fell across it, collapsing it in the middle. It cost him like $30,000 just for the body work. This could definitely be fixed, but is it worth it to you?
Adrian_Visser: what "frame"?

My car was hit in the rear quarter panel like this, probably worse. It had a bad bondo job done. I bought it like this. But I had bought it to be a track rat/ parts car. Now that its my only e30 it was bothering me like crazy. Luckily my dad's friend has been a body guy since forever and is willing to swap the quarter for me.
So my advise is take a bodyguy to check it out. And see if it is worth saving. I lucked out with it just being sheet metal, but every accident is different.Originally posted by scabzzzzWow.
