Front Cuts - do US salvage yards sell them

Hey all.
I'm working out the costs for an M50 swap.. Now I have an Aussie 323i so my EFI is L-jet rather then Motronic.
This raises extra issues when it comes to the wiring on the m50 engine.
I figure the easiest way to get around this is simply purchase the entire front half of a 525i to get the bits I need.
Front-cuts are common in AUS for engine swaps.
Do you guys know of any good US salvage yards that would sell front cuts and how much it would cost?

why would you want to buy one in the states. i think the shipping would probably negate any savings you may get. there are plenty of m50s kicking around here.

yards sell them here, but they are usually overpriced for such an item.
They would try and sell you the whole car or just the engine...

I'd get one from the US (if they sold them at a decent price) because most of the people I've contacted want $3500- $5000 Au for one and I can get the complete motor, gearbox, ecu and loom for about $1700Au from the states.
My only concern is that because I'd be fitting the m50 to a l-jet car there may be more to it that I wouldn't have.. but If I have a front cut I'd have all the wiring I could possibly need.

The only wiring you might not have would be a battery power or gound strap.
The engine harness has all the connections you will need, and it should be pretty stright forward. What you will need to modify is the wiring harness for the gauge cluster, or figure out how to make it work with what you have already...
