Whatever. If I buy an e30m3 i'll drop an ls1 in it. It's my car and I would mod it to my liking. Of course no dvd/screens.. -
BUying an M3 would be like buying the Type R for me. I don't think I could have that responsibility anymore.Leave a comment:

I actually love seing an S52/S54 in any E30, it is a true performance gain, I even like crazy paint jobs as it is still true to the design and intent of the car, It is just the cheesy stuff that actually dulls down the car the and castrates it that annoys mei think your right about the E30 M3s. maybe it is because they are rare or maybe it's the legend, but any heavy modding to an M3 kinda makes me sad, kinda like someone crashed it. when someone drops an S50 or S52 into an 325i or goes nuts with paint and wheels i appreciate the work put into the car. but if some one does the same this to an E30 M3, its like wtf. changing amazing makes it less amazing.
but ya just my thoughts.
I have an MtechII vert and i know its not a rare or as nice an an M3 but im even considering going back to the stock wheels.Leave a comment:

Bye.Just going off on a rant here feel free to move along to the next thread.
I know everyone wants their car to be personalized as an individual as them but, I feel when you a car that is so iconic and special like an E30 M3 you have certain responsibilities. The car is not yours and you do not own it, you are the care taker of it until it is passed along to the next care taker. You are part of an exclusive club when you own it and the purchase price is the cost of membership.
With all that said I am not saying the car needs to remain stock, but everything you do should be with performance in mind first. Function should always come before fashion.
TV's have no place in these cars, a radio should only be used to drown out the drone of a road trip. Feel free to flame the old guy.Leave a comment:

Its an e30 m3, not an mk1 shelby cobra or the likes. Let people do what they want to there cars. I hate seening one being ruined as much as any other e30 lover, but really rules and responsibilties of owning one?Leave a comment:

I completely agree!Fred Im sitting here at work and having a LOL.
OP: I think your taking it a bit too far with your whole theory on this.
I love my car and I love other e30 M3s. Yes I hate seeing stupid things like TVs and speaker boxes and neons and chrome rims on M3s, but guess what... Im sure there are people out there that dont like my smoked tails, or the gigundus gurney flap, or the red stripes on the wheels or the fact that I have a Red Bull can on my coil... what do I do?
I think in the end, we should all realize that a: its a car that has to be done up in style, b) we all have out own style and tastes.
So with that said, if you dont like my car.... move on to the next one. If you do like it, please move on to the next one as not to leave any marks or drool on the airbox. thanks and have a nice day.Leave a comment:

While I can see some merit in the OP, this:
No no, I own it. Don't believe me? See how many ventilation holes I add to your body if I see you trying to steal it...Leave a comment:
