I know everyone wants their car to be personalized as an individual as them but, I feel when you a car that is so iconic and special like an E30 M3 you have certain responsibilities. The car is not yours and you do not own it, you are the care taker of it until it is passed along to the next care taker. You are part of an exclusive club when you own it and the purchase price is the cost of membership.

With all that said I am not saying the car needs to remain stock, but everything you do should be with performance in mind first. Function should always come before fashion.

TV's have no place in these cars, a radio should only be used to drown out the drone of a road trip. Feel free to flame the old guy.
    Bye.

I swear if you rubbed the paint off you would see the pepsi logo from the cans they recycled to make that hunk of shit.

        but ya just my thoughts.
I have an MtechII vert and i know its not a rare or as nice an an M3 but im even considering going back to the stock wheels.
I actually love seing an S52/S54 in any E30, it is a true performance gain, I even like crazy paint jobs as it is still true to the design and intent of the car, It is just the cheesy stuff that actually dulls down the car the and castrates it that annoys me

BUying an M3 would be like buying the Type R for me. I don't think I could have that responsibility anymore.

Whatever. If I buy an e30m3 i'll drop an ls1 in it. It's my car and I would mod it to my liking. Of course no dvd/screens..

qft. yes, e30 M3's are great, but unless you do something that is truly irreversible, like turning it into a 'ute, who gives a rats' ass.

If you're going to do screens, make sure they're HD. Nothing worse than seeing a 480i headrest TV in an E30 M3.

sometimes when you put a stick in the sand and you can tell what time it is by the shadow you feel pretty good about your acomplishment, driving a 2002 is kind of the same feeling.

All I gotta say is if all cars were nice, they wouldn't be considered nice much longer. Everyone has their own style, some e30 m3 OWNERS, not care-takers, drive the shit out of them on the track like they were meant to be. Awesome. Some other owners like to have cool wheels/fitment/stance along with a good sound system to turn heads in and get everyone on the street drooling over their e30 m3. Awesome. Other owners like to keep their car stock and in prestine original condition to pay respect to these legendary cars. Awesome. Some people don't realize what they have and want to roll on 22's along with blue turn signals and fart cannons. Maybe a nice big hood scoop and a giant decal that says "RACING" on every window. Its the last group that ain't so awesome but they give us all something to keep in mind, its like their cars that we don't our cars to be like. If everyones car was 10/10 it wouldn't be long until people started considering the slightest imperfection to be rice.

Never thought id say this but thank god for ricers. They let me know what to stay away from.

I disagree, I believe the more neon or flourescent colors I can fit into a single vehicle, the better. Kinda like a Newman-E30-M3-Art-Car. Yeah, that should piss you off.

Make sure to put the left tv output from your dvd player to the right screen and vice versa so they display backwards and will therefore be oriented correctly when viewed through your rear view mirror. That would be distracting and dangerous, watching backwards TV while driving!
