I've done alot of work to his car over the last few days, its really coming back together nicely :)

As soon as his insurance stuff is done my mother is going to cough up some frequent flyer miles, and buy him a round trip ticket. He will leave the car in my care, and fly back when it is completed.

The airbag blew? How'd that feel?

I've always been curious of that too. The airbag shot out of the wheel and hit his arm rather hard. Luckily for me there wasn't one on my side. The seatbelts kept us in very well and I didn't feel a thing, probably because the front end of the car absorbed much of the force. There was a potential for things to be worse and I'm just glad it wasn't.

So ... it hit his arm? Were his arms crossed on the steering wheel? Did it burn?

I've always heard when an airbag blows you're supposed to get treated for burns resulting from an airbag deployement.

I'm curious to what happened at the meet, I decided not to go and am disappointed I didn't. PM sometime when you get back home.

Also, that's really awesome of Jordan to fix the car. Way to go!

Again, I'll post details after the dust settles. Hopefully I can get home soon. My teachers have already given me extensions on a paper and a test that I missed.

Cary, I think I will be able to drive to B-Fest, but thanx for the seat offer. We'll have to wait and see though.

Trying to work with the adjuster now, so I am keeping things hush hush. I'll post pics and details sometime after the insurance is done.

Thank you to all of you for your kind words. It means a lot to me.

And it was a 7 hour and 45 minute drive :P

Hey, if you are driving up there in August, stop by Sac so we can meet up. I am pretty much going to go to the PNW E30 meet.
