    exciting project

Ok, so I need to make a bed frame to resemble a car. Obviously I want to make it an e30. Ideas for how to go about it? I figure authentic parts instead of wood would look best. I'm not an expert on the body of the e30, so I'm not sure how I would go about assembly/purchasing what parts.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

bottlecaps, kidneys and headlights and roundels would probably be the most standout items. How far is this going?

MT2 door pods that are actual under bed drawers would be awesome.

At first I was thinking the whole front end: hood, bumper, etc. Now I'm starting to realize that'll start getting expensive and the design would somehow have to be continued down the side. Any other ideas?

I want it to be very recognizably an e30 and to look really good. I'm hoping for a 2-3 weekend long project and I have a budget of a few hundred.

The door pods for drawers is an awesome idea

first what size bed? you could do the front end and like coupe doors cut the windowe surround off so its still low profile)

i think this will be legit when done

actually the bed isn't for me. It's for a good friend of mine, and she wants a car bed.

Anyway, the bed will be a twin.

I want to do the whole front end and sides, but I think that'll get expensive. My budget is only about $300 probably.

Get a CB radio so you can talk to other car beds.
