These are some examples of Baurs...

They were made at a coachbuilder or something like that... Baur is the name of the company that made them.

And no, the car is custom built to suit the roof, if it's a Baur.

can you tell me what to look for when i go look at it cause i dont think i want to keep the 320 cause of availability of parts. pick a part is flooded with e30s(325s) out here. i really want a 325is but if it wont fit why bother even getting it

Most things from the 320i, are compatable with the 325i. The only real differences are the shitty 2L m20 which sucks donkey balls and is gutless. and short diff ratios, smaller struts, which you can change anyway.

oh and the battery is in the front haha.

It will not. You are looking at a Baur, which is like a convertible top where a roof was cut off. There is no hard top to take off and put on a 325i.

No a cab hardtop will not fit, this is a Baur, before the cabs came out.
There is a hardtop for this car but that is rare as rocking horse shit.
