For any of you "in the know" about wbo2 kits, you might have heard of TechEdge. They handle the wbo2 DIY project that's been going on for quite some time now (i've been watching it closely for the last year or so).

Anyways, I decided to order one for myself. I chose the TechEdge kit over the Innovate Motorsports (arguably one of the best units out there) for several reasons. #1- there is very little difference in performance, #2 - the TechEdge unit comes with a bunch of logging inputs (you have to pay for additional logging on the Innovate unit), #3 - I like DIY projects, #4 - it was cheaper, and #5 - I want to be different.

I got everything in the mail today. It shipped last friday, and arrived friday today. Not bad for air-mail from AU...

Here's a pic of everything I recieved. I got the top-of-the-line 2B0 pre-assembled kit.



So far i'm very impressed. We'll see what happens when I wire it all up...

What was the total cost?

Is this for the blown 928? I'm guessing that you are also running some sort of aftermarket engine management system?

yeah, its for the 928. I wish i had this thing when I was doing the MAF conversion on my 325is... but oh well.

I'm not currently running aftermarket computer systems. I've got the stock LH Jetronic, an RRFPR, and an SMT6. If I ever get another place where I can use a full 2-car garage, i'll probably pull the motor on the 928 and install a motec or megasquirt.
