    ac compressor seems impossible to adjust

    Hey guys, recently my ac belt popped because there was too much friction (needed tightening so the slipping wore it out). Yesterday i got a belt and i put it on. Its still very loose and i tried adjusting the compressor (2 nuts on the bottoms, 2 nuts on the top) and it still wont budge any suggestions?

              You can buy new brackets for pretty cheap from the dealer. I recommend tischer BMW (getbmwparts.com) paired with finding the part numbers from realoem.com.
              The teeth on the brackets go to crap if they are used wrong.

              Otherwise, you can use a pry-bar ;).
