That is a cool looking car regardless of it really being a VW, its like a Porsche front end with a Z rear end.

neat cars, there was an early and late model of them. my friend had an 82 IIRC.

back in the day, these guys had a part in importing them as a "kit" (no motor or trans made them a kit car)

i used to work at a local VW shop here and did all the ordering from them.

i used to deal with Baya ( an older Dutch lady) and Marie Ann. i met Marie Ann for the Sac Bug-in and got really friendly with her..........it caused a BIG stir in the Air cooled VW industry....whoops!

she is really knowledgable, and builds her own cars and engines (including some turbo motors!) way cool girl. if you deal with her, you will always get the right parts and straight forward advice. shameless plug.

Well, no. That would be incorrect. The Pumas were assembled in Brazil and shipped as complete cars under the VW AG authorization. If you do a little research before popping off, you might know....things, rather than just opine.

Are you planning on putting a cooler motor in?

                      Think a 3.2L 911 engine would fit?

Just build or boost a 1600 dual port or a 1776 it'll make more power than the chassis can handle.

its at least worth going to see to take more pictures...and put them up in this thread.

I think its worth a 6k offer though. For sure.
